Tag joins United Nations Global Compact as part of 2020 sustainability agenda
London, UK, 24 February 2020 – Tag, the global marketing production partner to brands and agencies, has signed up as a Participant to the UN Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.
As a key 2020 commitment, Tag has signed an agreement to make the UN Global Compact and its principles part of Tag’s core strategy, culture and day-to-day operations. The commitment also outlines its plan to engage in collaborative projects which advance the broader development goals of the United Nations, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals.
The UN Global Compact is a United Nations initiative to encourage businesses worldwide to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies, and to report on their implementation. The framework is based on ten principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.
Tag’s 2020 Sustainability Commitments:
- Join the UN Global Compact
- Audit the majority of our strategic vendors
- Reduce PVC usage and actively propose alternatives to clients with the aim of eliminating PVC completely from marketing materials
- Extend the Forest Stewardship Council certification (FSC) in our regions
- Rollout EcoVadis ratings and scorecards to our supply chain
- Enhance sustainable sourcing for our clients by investing in resource
